Recipe Websites

Blue Apron
This site is very consistent in format of recipes (all showcased in boxed images that you can scroll through). There is also consistency in photos, which gives the site a cohesive look.

Milk Street
Images are a bit all over the place in terms of size. I like the branding that they follow, but the site feels a little chaotic.

Food Wishes
Even though this interface might not be as "developed" as the others, it's very simple and easy to navigate. I appreciate the categorized list on the side.

Non-recipe Websites

Andrew Trousdale
I like the drop down elements in the list of this site. It's also interactive and clear how the list responds to the branching element.

Searching for Birds
I'm enjoing the way the text and information is framed within images. Maybe this could be carried over to a recipe site, where the images carry just as much importance as the text (instead of just sitting static on the page in a box).

Brainjour
I was looking at how the blogs are organized in a list. And, if you click on them, they then lead to other quotes that lead to other sources. I wonder if this could be relevant for a recipe page (linking ingredients?).
